Homefound is the So-Cal Community Pool app. Neighbors gift into a shared pool. Screened advocates allocate to real emergencies. Everyone can see categorical impact without turning people into public fundraising campaigns.
What Homefound does
- One community pool Contribute once. Dollars fund groceries, deposits, emergency care, and other material needs across Southern California.
- Transparent allocations See categorical milestones and a public trail of how pool funds were deployed. Proof without spectacle.
- Privacy-safe by design Public surfaces use first names only. No donor to neighbor chat. No itemized personal receipts.
- External giving on iOS App Store builds open Safari or the system browser for donations. Gifts are not sold as In-App Purchases.
Homefound is building toward 501(c)(3) status. Pool gifts today are not tax-deductible until we are registered.
